Dear Student,

Right now, your focus and attitude should be channelized towards getting the highest possible score in all the exams you have planned to give – CAT, XAT & MAT. You can try for other exams as well like SNAP, IBSAT etc.

Your written test percentile is not just enough to get you through a good college. The process after giving the MBA entrance exam is that you are called for GDPI. If you fare well in these too, then you can apply to the crème colleges like IIM’s, SPJain, Narsee Monjee etc. Once your written percentile is out, you should immediately check the cut-off criteria in the colleges you wish to take admission into and apply. Cut-off’s in colleges vary, so there is no way of telling you the percentile required beforehand. And there is no way of telling your expected percentile beforehand, unless you do a comparison with your fellow MBA aspirants yourself.

Try XLRI, MICA etc too. It is always an intelligent move to keep a medley of college options open. You can check the placements of these colleges to get a better view.
