Economics is considered to be the most prestigious course of Delhi University. As a graduate in Economics you can aspire to many entry-level jobs in Banking, Finance, Insurance, Stock Markets, Sales and Marketing as well as corporations like consulting firms or government departments and you can also work as Economist.

There are some colleges in Delhi University which provide B.A. Economics (Hons.) for those students who have not studied Mathematics in 10+2. But the cut off list for that is always higher than those who have studied Mathematics in 10+2.
