Telecommunication engineering is a major field that falls under Electronics Engineering. Apart from this, it also combines various aspects of electrical, structural and civil engineering as well. Telecommunications engineers handle different types of technology that help us to communicate. They research, design and develop satellite and cable systems, mobile phones, radio waves, the internet and e-mail.
Eligibility: - One should have BE / B Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication (EC), Telecommunication (EC), Electronics (EC), Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electronics & Communication (EC) and must have qualified in the GATE for taking admission in IISC Bangalore for M.Tech in Telecommunication Engineering.
Gained industrial experience will add advantage in your studies and career also.
If you are interested in research, go for Ph.d after M.Tech.
