Aircraft maintenance engineering (AME) is offered by a host of institutes in India, including the ones you have mentioned. The complete list of approved AME training institutes is available on the website of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (www.dgca.nic.in). These programmes are three-and-a-half-year long and you need to be 10+2 pass with at least 50 per cent marks in physics-chemistry-mathematics. In most cases, admission depends on an entrance test, and applications must reach the institute before the end of May of the year when the programme is supposed to start.
