Networking is the practice of linking two or more computing devices together for the purpose of sharing data. Networks are built with a mix of computer hardware and computer software.

Network engineers are responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication networks within an organisation or between organisations.

There are many institutes offering certificate course in the field of Hardware and Networking of six months duration. For this course you should have pass 10+2 with science background, or having an ITI certificate or a diploma from a government recognized institution.

For networking, the student should have a degree or diploma in computer science, electronics, electrical and telecommunication.

Many of the hardware manufacturing and software development companies offers good jobs in this field.
