Hi Shantanu, this is a very drastic step! If you pursue Politics or Sociology, then you need to do a UG and then PG in each of these courses. However, if the idea is to service the country, then you can look at Civil Services, then your current education will not go waste. Alternatively, you could get a job in the IT division of a social service organization and be actively involved with social work as well. If you want to get into Politics directly, you need to be associated with a political party and after you have worked for some time with the party, they may give you a ticket to contest for elections.
