Yes, you can apply for MBA for 2012. CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. are some entrance tests which are conducted for admission in MBA course. You should have strong preparation for entrance exam to get good score in MBA entrance exam to compete group discussion and Interview. So, its better you start preparation for MBA entrance exam as early as you can.

Very few private colleges like Symbiosis, Sikkim Manipal University, etc. will provide direct admission in MBA Course without any competitive examination scores and other option is management quota. But you will not get admission in good colleges. Many of these institutes are not even AICTE or UGC approved.

So, we advice you prepare well for the CAT, MAT, XAT, etc. entrance if you want to secure a seat in a good MBA college. If you have scored good percentile in any one of the examination, you will get admission in top business schools of India.
