B.Ed is the undergraduate course for those students who want to become a primary school teacher. This is a course of 1 year duration. One can pursue this course as correspondence as well as distance program also.

You can teach after M.Com in coaching centers or some schools but if you wish to build up a career in teaching you must do B.Ed/M.Phil. You can pass NET examination and start teaching in colleges. Most of the schools and colleges ask for B.Ed and M.Phil as the eligibility criteria, respectively.

Eligibility B.Ed: - One should have bachelor’s degree in any stream from any recognised university. Percentage required is depending on college to college for B.Ed course.
