Many of universities and institutes offering distance learning programme in the field of B.Tech with various specialisations. You can opt for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with distance leraning as you completed your Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and also you are working.

Eligibility: - Admission to 4 year B.Tech. Programme is made on the basis of merit ranks obtained at the Entrance test conducted by the University subject to rules of reservation. Candidate seeking admission under Distance Education mode into B.Tech Programme should be Diploma holder in the branch of Engineering concerned, and should be working in the jurisdiction of the university. However, admission will be based as per university norms. Since you have completed diploma course in Mechanical Engineering, as a diploma holder you can get admission in B.E. degree course through lateral entry to fulfill the requirement of institute.
