The IIT-JEE and AIEEE exam has many institutes covered under them. Each state also offers 15% of seats to students from other states through the CET (Combined Entrance Test). Other than these there are private institutes which have their own entrances tests like BITSAT for Birla Institute of Technology, VIT for Vellore Institute of Technology, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal ********** , JAYPEE Institute Noida and SRM Chennai and many others which carry out their own entrance tests for admission of students.
