As you want to get admission in Polytechnic course on the basis of I.T.I. course, you will get admission under lateral entry direct in second year of Diploma, so the course duration for you will be two- year instead of three-year.

Eligibility:

You should have passed have passed two years trades of ITI after passing 10th class examination or candidates who have passed +2 vocational be eligible.

You must have obtained not less than 60% marks in the concerned qualifying examination.

Admission is strictly done on the basis of merit in DET (Diploma Entrance Test) conducted by the DTE & T for ITI holders direct in 3rd semester Diploma courses in relevant discipline through E-Counselling.
