Hi Tanya, I am a journalism student from UTM Shillong. I did my internship recently in Times of India Guwahati. My college's placement cell helped me getting that internship. You can also freelance for the newspapers. You should call in the head office of the concern newspaper or tabloid. Or you can join a nice mass communication college like mine which will help you getting into journalism. You can apply to my college as well, it offers bachelors in mass communication and journalism. The lecturers are very nice here and also the placement cell is very active. The college has got good infrastructure and hostel facilities as well. Check its website for details.
