Yes, you are eligible for COMEDK test as you have completed your 10+2 from NIOS Board.

COMEDK is responsible for organising the COMEDK UGET 2012 (Under Graduate Entrance Test) for the academic year 2012/2013, for candidates aspiring to pursue under graduate courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka in member institutions of the Consortium (Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges)

Eligibility: 

1. You should have passed the qualifying examination (higher secondary or equivalent examination) that is recognized by State / Central Government and should have had Physics and Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects in the last 2 years of their studies.

2. You should have passed each of these subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% of marks taken together in PCM. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology as one of the optional subjects.

3. There is no minimum mark fixed for entrance test (COMEDK UGET 2012). Hence all candidates who have taken COMEDK UGET 2012 will find a place in the merit list as per their performance.

After scoring well in COMEDK test, you will be eligible for doing engineering. It will not affect your engineering career in future. You can apply for private as well as government job after completing your engineering.
