Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is a standardized test that is required to be taken by students seeking admission in any of the graduate schools. Students seeking admission into any Masters Program (Master of Arts or MS) in US, and many other European countries as well are required to take GRE.

There are no standard timings to prepare for GRE exam. Its better you start preparation for GRE Exam as early as you can by scheduling time along with your B.Tech studies, because you should have strong preparation to get good score in GRE to take admission in best engineering college.
