Hi Vidhi,
Yes, you can opt for Bachelor of Arts (B.A) in English (Hons.) after completing your 10+2 with Commerce field. B.A (Hons.) in English course is a three years undergraduate degree programme. If you have studied English till Class XII, and it is one of the top subjects in your best of four, then you should definitely take up English honours. If you are looking at admission in Delhi University, you will need to sit for CATE entrance exam. For colleges outside Delhi and other universities, you may or may not have to sit for an entrance test.
After completing it, you can get jobs in various areas such as Education Department, Creative Writing, Technical Writing, Editing & Publishing, Public Relations and Journalism, Museums. You may also take up professional courses after graduation like PR, Human Rights, MBA or continue with academics like M.A in English, Ph. D in English etc.
You can work as English Teacher & Tutor, English Speaking Trainer, English Content Writer, English Language Lecturer, English Stenographer etc.
Career in Language and Literature
Good luck!!!
