Minimum percentage required to sit for the entrances for mechanical engineering is 60%.
However you can checkout a few private colleges .

Mechanical engineering deals with design, analysis, manufacture and maintenance of anything that has moveable components. Mechanical engineers will design, analyse, test, manufacture and maintain anything that has these moveable parts. This branch of engineering is the third most sought after in India. This “mother” branch is an “all-weather” and “all-purpose” field that allows engineers specialising in it to enter all possible sectors.
