All India Pre-Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) is a carried out each year by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to 15% of seats the total seats for Medical/ Dental Courses in all Medical colleges / Dental Colleges.

Eligibility:

1. You should have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. course and is an Indian National. The upper age limit for this exam is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination.
2. You must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
3. B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that you have passed the B.Sc. Examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology ( Botany, Zoology ) / Bio – technology and further that you have passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Yes, you have to appear for Biology subject through National Institute of Open Schooling if you not have Biology subject in graduation also as Biology is the compulsory subject to apply for AIPMT exam.
