You must meet minimum academic requirements and need a sufficient level of English language proficiency for entry to Australian education and training institutions.

You need to complete 12 years of elementary and secondary education. You can either pursue a two-year associate degree like an Associate of Science (AS) or a four year degree like a Bachelor of Science (BS). Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to pass IELTS/TOEFL exams with valid score band.

However, admission and the eligibility criteria for engineering course depend upon the requirement of universities or institutions of Australia where you want to apply.
