Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) exam is called pre-recruitment examination for Insurance Agents. This is an All India Level examination which is conducted every year by the Insurance Institute of India. This is a government agency that is IRDA which issues license to the qualified individuals to work for the post of Insurance agents in India. It is administered separately for Life Insurance Agents and General Insurance Agents, manually by the Institute and electronically by the NSE.

IRDA exam can be given in two modes, online and offline.
