There are number of institutes offer MBA programme with distance learning. It gives option to do job along with studies. It is a good option for you as you are working professional.
Yes, you can also get better placement opportunities after MBA in private as well as government organisations. As we know government jobs are rare, but you can try for government jobs by following employment news.
However, another option is to opt for Executive MBA (1 or 1.5 years regular MBA course) or one year Post-Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) offered by IIM, which is especially designed for working professionals, so that they can enhance their education as per market demand.
Since you have work experience you can easily get admission in EMBA course along with your job. Part time MBA would be very helpful for you because you already have experience and it gives value addition to your career.
