Hi Sheetu, the procedure for engineering is to get atleast 55% in your HSC and then appear for a CET like IIT JEE, WBJEE, KCET etc. Then you need to wait for your ranking and based on your score see the colleges you are eligible to apply at. How it works is like this - every college (well most, if not all) has a tie up/ or accepts a particluar exam's scores, so if you have taken that exam, your score will dteremine which college you are able to apply at. So the trick is to appear for as many CET that you can or you think you can try. So, now you sjould wait for the results to see where you are eligible to apply and then go for the counselling to decide which college you may want to go to.
