Mechanical engineers will design, analyse, test, manufacture and maintain anything that has these moveable parts. This branch of engineering is the third most sought after in India. This “mother” branch is an “all-weather” and “all-purpose” field that allows engineers specialising in it to enter all possible sectors.
Many students keep a year aside for coaching / entrances so it's not a bad option.Just try not to waste the year.
