There are many engineering firms which hire Instrumentation and Control Engineers at a good package.

The industries that you can explore after this course include chemical, paper, automation of automobiles, construction & other smaller industry. Banking & building management is another field where there is a large scope since very little work has been done. However, currently the fastest going field is hospital automation & instrumentation in India.
