Typically, to pursue any kind of engineering course/ B. Tech, you should have studied Science with Maths in your Class 12. Depending on what you want to specialize in, you will need to check out the criteria. When you are studying in 12 or have already completed 12, you can sit for various national level engineering entrance exams like AIEEE, IIT JEE and state level engineering entrance exams like WBJEE, KCET, COMETK, etc.

On the basis of your score in these exams, you will eligible to apply at in engineering colleges. (after another session of counseling and interview)
