You can pursue Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic) after completing your 10th. Polytechnic teaches you all the fundamental concepts of engineering, all specialized fields such as electrical engineering, electronics engineering, civil engineering, computer and IT engineering.

After completing 3 years Diploma in engineering, you can get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech through lateral entry scheme.

However, we will suggest you to follow your engineering dream the traditional way i.e., finish your 12 standard and then take admission in B.Tech. Reason? You will be in a better position to decide your career path just in case you decide against engineering in the last minute.
