You will get a range of opportunities with your English honors degree. You could make a career in creative and professional Writing, Editing, Journalism and Web-Page Design. Besides media, you can also go for Civil Services, Advertising and of course teaching. You could also take up the job of translation by learning a foreign language. You can be a freelance writer, copy or content writer, journalist or public relation manager.
If you are really interested in writing then you should pursue B.A. in English (Honors) course. After that you can eligible to pursue Master’s level courses in Creative Writing and Film Studies (M.A. in English). You can also pursue degree, diploma and certificate courses to learn creative art of writing like
1. Diploma in Creative Writing and Film Application
2. Certificate course (Writing for Film & Television)
3. Certificate Course (Creative Writing)
4. Master of Arts (Journalism & Creative Writing)
Unlike other professions, you do not require any specific qualification, degree or certificate. Some organisations prefer a mass communication or literature background with good communication and excellent writing skills.
