Dear Student, before deciding on the course, it’s necessary to understand the difference between MBA & MS, MBA focuses on enhancing Management Skills which includes Managing People, Managing Business, Managing Resources, etc. while MS offers more in-depth knowledge in a particular field.

Purpose of two courses is different and you have to decide basis on your Interests, Strengths & Career Goals. If you are really interested in Research, Exploring things, you can go for MS and if you have good Managerial Skills, go for MBA.

You are currently in 2nd year, it would be great idea if you can start preparing for CAT right now so that you are not under pressure in the end. Since CAT requires a lot of practice, firstly, prepare your basics well, start making your Maths & Vocabulary strong, read Newspaper daily.
