No, Maths subject is not compulsory to appear for AIPMT and AIIMS exams because you just need to have Physics, chemistry and biology subjects in 10+2 to appear AIPMT exam and graduation degree in medical sciences for AIIMS’s AIPGMEE exam.

AIPGMEE 2012 – All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Exam is an admission test for admission to MD/MS/Diploma/MDS courses which is held by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi.

Eligibility: You must be an Indian National carrying M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college and must have completed compulsory rotating internship.

All India Pre-Medical/Dental Test (AIPMT) is a carried out each year by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to 15% of seats the total seats for Medical/ Dental Courses in all Medical colleges / Dental Colleges.

Eligibility:
1. You should have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.S./B.D.S. course and is an INDIAN NATIONAL.
2. You must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
