in my school on taking the arts stream there is a option between history and maths...which one i should go for ?and to become a historian is it necessary to have history in class 12th?

Hi,

The choice of course depends on your interest and aptitude. However, if you want to become a historian then you should have History subject in your 10+2. To become a historian, you can opt for History Hons after completing your 10+2.
