Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM) has never required any statutory recognition from anybody for any of its programmes. However students doing ISBE programmes also have the choice of additionally undertaking their MBA/BBA degree programmes from M S University, Tamil Nadu since IIPM has a tie up with the Directorate of Distance Learning of their university.

IIPM has started ISBE i.e. Indian School of Business and Economy, to offer its excellent education. The courses are offered through the Onsite Academic Programmes and are offered on par with on campus mode as per the UGC norms since at ISBE students are imparted the same education by ISBE on a full time mode.
