There are many institutes for MBA throughout the country. However, as there is no formal ranking, it is difficult to comment on any specific institute. It is advisable that you keep your options open and consider at least a few more institutes. When choosing an institute you need to look at the faculty, course structure and campus placements. Check with the institute and satisfy yourself on these aspects, as also campus placements and starting salaries before taking up the admission. The starting salary depends on the campus placements of the institutes. Most MBA students from 1st and 2nd tier institutes can expect a starting salary of minimum 3-10 lakh per annum. Some of the well renowned institutes for doing a MBA include IIMs, FMS, IIFT, XLRI, SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, ICFAI Hyderabad, Symbiosis, IMT Ghaziabad and others.
