Regular degree programmes are always better than distance ones. As you have completed Diploma in Electrical Engineering, it would be advisable for you to go for regular B.Tech. You can get admission in 2nd year of B.Tech degree through lateral entry exam conducted by various universities. The approvals and recognitions of distance universities may vary from university to university. Also, distance programmes don’t provide placement facilities.
