You can pursue B.Tech/B.E in Aerospace engineering after 12th if you are interested in Aerospace Engineering. Aerospace Engineering involves the design, construction and science of airplanes and space vehicles. It branches into aircraft and aerospace engineering. You could also work for airlines like Air India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Kingfisher, etc. Openings also exist in civil aviation departments as well as the Indian Air Force.

Mechanical engineering deals with design, analysis, manufacture and maintenance of anything that has moveable components. Mechanical Engineers perform typical engineering functions like planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment.
