You can join diploma in engineering after completing your 10+2. After completing your diploma you can join Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme. B.Tech programme allows diploma students to take entry directly into second year of engineering course. 

As a diploma holder you can get admission in B.Tech degree course through lateral entry to fulfil the requirement of institute. This will save your one year and you get admission directly to the second year.

Eligibility: 

• You should have passed Diploma in Engineering with minimum of 60% marks.

• You should not be more than 28 years of age.

Apart from Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET) is also new entrance to get admission in India’s top engineering colleges including the IITs.

ISEET will have two parts, Main and Advance, each of three hours duration. ISEET Main will be an objective type exam, and will test comprehension, critical thinking and logical reasoning. ISEET Advance will test problem-solving ability in basic science subjects. The two tests together will indicate your scholastic level and aptitude for science and engineering.
