An MBA is the title given to a degree when it is awarded by a university. Ideally you should look at doing a MBA if you want to establish yourself as a successful manager and an entrepreneur. However you require to have a bachelor’s degree to qualify for admission to an MBA programme.

A PG Diploma on the other hand could be a short term specialized course in any area you may choose to study. It is always better to do a regular course than a correspondence. But a correspondence course holds value if you do it while working in your field. There are many institutes that offer MBA through distance education, IGNOU, New Delhi, Kurukshetra University Annamalai University, and several others. There are also other postgraduate courses in Management through correspondence, which include  Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune,  Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies **********,  IMT Ghaziabad, ICFAI University **********,  All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi, and so on.
