Hi Shreya, in order of importance, your focus should be course, college and then placement. Why? Since you are going to be stuck with the course, it is important that you choose someting that you are interested in, otherwise you will lose interest and that could prove to be a disaster. Then focus on a reputed college because then your brand value will automatically go up in the market leading to better placements. So you see, everything works in a circle. Get the choicest course, aim for a good college and automatically you will find good companies knocking at your door. But remember, placement is not on the basis of course and college alone, you need to have a good score/ performance and you should be able to sell yourself to them when they come! So, right now, don't bother about placements, just concentrate on your preparations and get a good college. BITS is a very good name and the education quality is par excellence. If you can make through it, then its good.
