As a diploma holder you can get admission in B.Tech degree course through lateral entry directly in second year. Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. so you need to appear and crack these exams like MHT-CET. Some institutes also want 6 months work experience either as trainee or employee for admission to this course. Engineering has many fields like
