You can go for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work as per your eligibility. Social Work is a professional programme which equips students to work on issues related to inequality, injustice, social work, social welfare and development concerns of the poor, and help the students to develop skills and insights into working with people at the individual, group and community levels and on similar issues.

You can go for the degree programme in Human Rights also. Human Rights program has been designed to familiarize and sensitize more and more people in society towards issues relating to Human Rights and Duties and involve you in the Human Rights movement.

As you want to make your career as a social worker, you can work for various developmental projects of the government for NGOs. Social work includes a number of services such as case management, counselling & psychotherapy, human services management, social welfare policy analysis, policy, community organizing, international, social and community development, teaching (in schools of social work), and social and political research, etc.
