No, Computer Science (H) from Delhi University is not equivalent to a B.Tech/ engineering degree. While the former is a 3 years degree, a B. tech course is a 4 years degree and deals with more technicalities, at the end of which, you will be called an engineer.

If you ask us, B.Tech is a more specific and valued course as compared to B.Sc (h). But if you are interested in B. Sc, then you should go for it as the returns after that is also quite flattering. You can pursue higher studies like M.Sc (Computer Science) in a specialized subject, MCA, M. Sc (Computer technology), M. tech (Software Engineering) or venture out for a different kind of specialization like MBA, Civils, Law or any other.
