MSW is a two year professional programme which equips students to work on issues related to Inequality, Injustice, Social Work, Social Welfare and Development concerns of the poor, and help the students to develop skills and insights into working with people at the individual, group and community levels and on similar issues.

Eligibility: - Students who have a background in Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, Psychology and Philosophy at the Bachelors level are eligible for take admission in MSW course.

As a social worker, you can work for various developmental projects of the government for NGOs. Social work includes a number of services such as case management, counseling & psychotherapy, human services management, social welfare policy analysis, policy, community organizing, international, social and community development, teaching (in schools of social work), and social and political research, etc.
