Dieticians are experts in clinical and nutritional matters and they study people’s diet and try and promote good health by advocating a healthy diet that might differ from person to person.

Dieticians work in hospitals, nursing care facilities and physician and health practitioner offices, focusing on patients' health through diet and nutrition.

If you are graduate in Microbiology, Chemistry, Home Science, Hotel Management, etc. you can pursue a 2 year long M.Sc in Nutrition. Another option is to pursue a 1 year PG diploma course in Nutrition and Dietetics.

You have a wonderful career option in food and dietetics. As a Dietician you may work in many different settings like hospitals, nursing care, public health practice, etc.
