Electrical and Electronic engineering both deal with the study and applications of electrons and electricity. Usually a distinction between the two disciplines is made except in the United States. To be specific, electrical engineering deals with large-scale electrical systems like power transmission & motor control (i.e. where electricity is used to transmit
energy) while electronic engineering is studies small-scale electronic systems like computers and integrated circuits (i.e. where electricity is used to transmit
information).

From youngsters flaunting their latest gadgets to farmers from far-flung villages huddling around a PC to check the daily crop prices, the computer is omnipresent. They have become a permanent part of the human social fabric. It is no wonder that CSE (Computer Science Engineering) is still one of the most sought after programme among the top ranking students, global economic meltdown notwithstanding.
