Generally, the exam pattern for mass communication courses varies from course to course and college to college. However, the common exam pattern is as follows-

There will be objective type questions and you need to choose the most appropriate answer from the choices given. Negative marking will be there for wrong answers.

There will be short and long questions from Media (print and electronic), current affairs, GK etc that are given prime importance in the entrance exam. So, you need to be aware and updated with current happenings in the media sector. The questions from advertising, editing etc. can also be included. Students with good score in the written examination can attend the GD and Interview.
