If you have completed your diploma in CSE (Computer Science Engineering), you are eligible to take admission in B.Tech degree direct in second year with lateral entry as a diploma holder.

Eligibility: -

1. Pass 10+2 with physics, chemistry and mathematics to take admission in any institute with required percentile followed by entrance test such as IIT- JEE, GATE, KCET, MHT-CET, etc. conducted by institute or organisations.

2. As a diploma holder you can get admission in B.E. degree course through lateral entry to fulfill the requirement of institute. This will save your one year and get admission directly to the second year.

Some colleges take admission through lateral entry exams like Joint Entrance Examination of Lateral Entry (JELET), Diploma to Degree Entrance Competitive exam, etc. so you need to appear and crack these exams and some colleges conducted their own entrance exam for getting entry.
