Dear student,
To be eligible for almost all MBA entrance exams, you need to have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university instead of just a diploma. A diploma is not equivalent to a degree. Since you already have a diploma in E&T, you can take admission in the direct 2nd year of B.tech course through lateral entry examination. And then you can think about an MBA.
