Dear Student
After graduating in Sanskrit Honours from Delhi University, there is always the option of becoming a teacher. You can also opt for bank jobs, become translators provided you have good English skills, you can work in museums, library, become news readers and even go for civil services.
Sanskrit, one of the most ancient languages, is taught in Delhi University colleges at an undergraduate level. Sanskrit is gradually becoming popular option among students applying to DU.
Sanskrit is taught in two modes at the undergraduate level. You can either pursue a BA programme in Sanskrit or BA in Sanskrit (Honours). The former is divided into two parts. Students interested in this programme can choose to either study Sanskrit as a ‘discipline’ or as a ‘language.’
