Civil service is the name given to numerous departments and agencies that provide services directly to the public and to the government. The IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited by the Union government on the recommendation of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and posted under various State governments. It is a highly competitive and challenging yet powerful and prestigious field. All India Combined Competitive Examination for the Civil Services conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

As you are interested in civil service you should be graduates from a recognised university and should be between 21-30 years of age for apply to civil services. For SC/ST candidates there is an age relaxation of 5 years.
