Since you are pursuing Diploma course in Electrical engineering and now you want to take admission in engineering degree course direct in second year lateral entry through LEET exam, there are several universities like Punjab University, Patiala, Thapar University, etc. give admission to the students through LEET exam.

Eligibility of Thapar University for B.Tech degree course: -

You should have passed diploma, in relevant discipline, of minimum 3 years duration after matriculation or diploma, in relevant discipline, of minimum 2 years duration after 10+2 from Polytechnic College/Institute affiliated with State Board of Technical Education/University, or recognized by UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in aggregate or equivalent grade point.

And have qualified LEET-TU with at least 20% aggregate marks (15% for SC/ST candidates).
