Hi,

NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an All India Medical Entrance Exam for admission to medical Colleges in India for under graduate and post graduate courses.

Eligibility Criteria: Passed 12th class examination, minimum of 50% (General category) and 40% (Reserved category) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board before admission.

The NEET entrance examination would cover most of the medical colleges in India. The exceptions listed out are AFMC- Armed Forces Medical College, AIIMS- All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER- Chandigarh) as these institutions were set up by separate laws and will be out of the insight of NEET- UG.

All India Engineering/ Architecture Entrance Examination (AIEEE) is a common entrance examination conducted by the CBSE on all India basis for admission to professional and technical programmes in the country.

AIEEE 2012 dates of online exam: 7th-25th May 2012 and Pen & Paper Exam: 29th April 2012.

As you are interested in medical sciences also, you can give these exams simultaneously but we want to say that just prepare best for only one exam at one time, because giving both exams at same time will effect on your preparation. If you’ll manage you can go for both exams.
