Dear Student, two things. Are you sure you are willing to put in 120% effort into your preparation this year, so as to crack the entrance exams next year? Then it is wise to drop a year to prepare.
But you have already spent one year preparing for IIT JEE or AIEEE, then our advice will be to go ahead and get an admission in a private college. Some of the colleges have really good placement facilities.
